Manage Gmail Access

Last updated: 2026-06-04

This page explains how Gmail read-only access works in the Quick Ping Chrome extension, how to disconnect it, and how to request deletion or export of Quick Ping data.

What Gmail Access Does

Quick Ping asks for Gmail read-only access only if you choose to connect Gmail in the Chrome extension.

Read-only access means Quick Ping can use the Gmail API to help you understand prior applications, companies, stages, and recruiter context. It does not allow Quick Ping to send, compose, modify, or delete Gmail messages.

What Gmail Access Does Not Do

Quick Ping is designed to use Gmail API calls through gmail.googleapis.com, not Gmail.com page scraping.

  • Gmail.com page scraping: disabled.
  • Gmail.com extension injection: disabled.
  • Sending, composing, modifying, or deleting Gmail messages: disabled.
  • Remote AI or generalized model training with Gmail or Gmail-derived data: disabled.
  • Permanent Gmail or Google Workspace data copies for unrelated use: disabled.

Manage Or Disconnect Gmail

You can stop Quick Ping from using Gmail access at any time.

  • Open the Quick Ping Chrome extension popup and use the Gmail disconnect control.
  • Open your Google Account permissions page and revoke Quick Ping access from Google directly.
  • Clear the Chrome extension storage if you want to remove local extension state from this browser profile.
  • Uninstall the Chrome extension if you no longer want the browser extension installed.

Delete Or Export Your Data

Disconnecting Gmail stops the integration from using Gmail access, but it does not delete messages from your Gmail account.

To request deletion, export, or another privacy-related action for Quick Ping account, workspace, CRM, or extension data, contact us.

  • Privacy contact: jovanny@aquickping.com
  • When possible, include the account email or workspace handle you use with Quick Ping.
  • Do not send Gmail message content, OAuth tokens, screenshots of Gmail messages, or other private mailbox content in a support request.

Important Limits

Some local extension data may live only in your browser profile. Quick Ping may not be able to delete browser-local data from our servers because that data is not stored on our servers.

If Google access is revoked from your Google Account, Quick Ping must ask you to reconnect before it can use Gmail read-only access again.
